A lactation consultant can help you achieve your breastfeeding goals.

Here's how to get started:

Breastmilk has many advantages for baby but did you know that breastfeeding is good for moms too? Here's why.

Preparing before birth

Talking to a lactation consultant before the arrival of your newborn will give you the knowledge and tools that can help make breastfeeding a success.

How can a LC help?

Lactation consultants help families for the duration of breastfeeding, including weaning. They assure baby has a good latch and can troubleshoot other issues that may arise along the way.

Does insurance cover?

In most cases the costs for lactation consultants are covered by insurances. We will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance.

About Me.

I started my career as a nurse working with premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. There, I became aware of the special set of breastfeeding challenges in that setting. After living abroad and having my own children, I realized how many new moms struggle with breastfeeding and are not given the support they need even starting in the hospital. I set out to do what I knew I could and that was to give moms the kind of support they need and the right information to make a difference.
